All Justisse Method Instructors must accurately and responsibly represent the efficacy of the Justisse Method in all advertising, promotional, and educational materials. The most updated ways to communicate the efficacy of the Justisse Method may be found on our licensing page. Efficacy should NOT be represented in the following way: “The Justisse Method can be over 99% effective with perfect use”
Studies on symptothermal methods have indicated perfect-use rates between 97.6 and 99.6 % and typical-use rates between 86.8 and 98.2 % (Peragallo Urrutia et al., 2018, Duane et al., 2022). Studies on mucus-only methods have reported perfect-use efficacy rates between 96.6 and 98.9 % and typical use rates between 77.2 and 96 % (Peragallo Urrutia et al., 2018, Duane et al., 2022). The effectiveness of the Justisse method is expected to fall within these ranges.
Symptothermal charters can expect a somewhat higher efficacy than mucus-only charters, and those learning the method with an instructor and highly motivated to use the method correctly and consistently can expect higher effectiveness than those with a more relaxed approach to possible pregnancy. The Justisse Method has been used successfully for pregnancy prevention by thousands of women since its development in the 1980s and updates to the methodology have been made to further improve efficacy as new research in the field has been published.

To maintain the integrity of the Method - which is designed for live instruction - and mitigate potential risk to clients, courses offered by Justisse Method Instructors shall be delivered under JMI supervision and shall not be provided solely as self-directed, webinar-based learning.

We are streamlining our digital infrastructure to foster a more cohesive and modern experience for our community. Our current courseware platform will officially sunset at the conclusion of 2026, with essential JMI resources moving to a Google Drive folder.
You can access the Method Update Study Materials here. If you need to access the New Unit F to review the necessary materials and complete the exam, please contact admissions@justisse.ca

As we migrate our educational programs to a modern learning management software, the same will occur for our licensee engagement. We will sunset Slack and encourage engagement in a dedicated Thinkific Community.
This Thinkific Community will also be where future Continuing Education events will be offered.
This transition will simplify your access to essential materials while fostering long-term connection in a unified space, and we will provide comprehensive guidance on accessing this new platform as we approach the (to be determined) migration date.

If it has been a while since you have taught the Justisse Method and you would like a more directed study, our Justisse Method Mastery modules of our new FAE Program will be running from October 2026-May 2027 and we invite you to participate at a discounted rate. If you’re interested in this opportunity please email admissions@justisse.ca.
