The Justisse Method Of Fertility Awareness

The Justisse Method is a standardized fertility awareness based method that involves monitoring bodily signs to identify menstrual cycle events and fertile days of the cycle. It is a secular, evidence‑informed approach designed to be accessible to people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and reproductive intentions.

The Justisse Method has two variations: symptothermal and mucus-only. Both can be used to avoid pregnancy, to conceive, and to gain general menstrual cycle literacy and invaluable day-to-day insights into your menstrual cycle and reproductive health.

The symptothermal Justisse Method teaches you to chart your menstrual cycle by observing the bodily signs of cervical mucus and basal body temperature with cervical changes as an optional sign.

The mucus-only Justisse Method allows to chart your cycle based on cervical mucus observations alone.

The Justisse Method is based on day-to-day observations, not predictions based on calculations or an algorithm. does not involve calculation rules or algorithms.

The Justisse Method is best learned from a licensed Justisse Method instructor. This ensures the method is learned properly with personalized guidance throughout the learning process. Our licensed instructors are committed to client-centered education, continuing professional development and the success of their clients’ ability to confidently use the method according to their intention and at any stage of their reproductive life.

Justisse Method instructors respect each client’s personal values, beliefs, and reproductive choices, including how they may choose to integrate the method with other forms of reproductive planning.
