A new cohort means new possibilities, and we could not be more excited to welcome the students beginning their Fertility Awareness Educator journey this fall.
The 2026 cohort brings together nurses, parents, health communicators, educators, advocates, and professionals from around the world. Each student arrives with a unique story, but they share a commitment to deepening body literacy and helping others better understand their menstrual and reproductive health.
Please join us in celebrating our newest FAE students and the knowledge, care, and lived experience they bring to the Justisse community.
Marion Sophia Tea
Sophia is a registered nurse, doula, and founder of Luna Care Studio, a maternal wellness practice supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Her experience across hospital, birth centre, and home birth settings informs her compassionate approach to care. Through her FAE training, Sophia hopes to expand her holistic model of maternal support, bridging clinical knowledge with the personalized education, advocacy, and trust families often need beyond traditional healthcare settings.
Oleksandra Korpan
Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Olesya holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and works as a grant auditor. She began using the symptothermal method in 2020, first to avoid pregnancy and later to conceive her daughter. Experiencing the value of fertility awareness in her own life inspired her to pursue FAE training. Olesya hopes to help other women feel more knowledgeable and confident about their fertility, bodies, and reproductive choices.
Zoie Duncan
Zoie is a homeschooling mother of three from Texas who began her fertility awareness journey in 2019 after seeking an alternative to hormonal birth control. Her understanding soon grew beyond pregnancy prevention into a passion for body literacy. She hopes to educate women of all ages, especially preteens and teens, while offering compassionate guidance to those trying to conceive. Her personal experience with infertility shapes her commitment to ensuring others feel informed and supported.
Mariana Ontañón Sánchez
Mariana holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Biological Chemistry from UNAM and a Master’s degree in Women’s Health from University College London. As a hormonal and reproductive health communicator, she demystifies the menstrual cycle, fertility, contraception, and related health concerns for a growing online community. Mariana has led workshops for schools, companies, and events, including UNICEF’s Ciclo M, and hopes to continue equipping people with practical tools for self-knowledge and well-being.
Anabel Cristina Cáceres Del Salto
Cristina is an Ecuadorian professional with a multidisciplinary background in Environmental Biotechnology, Prevention and Risk Management, and Law. Her journey to better understand her menstrual cycle led her to become a Menstrual Educator and pursue FAE certification. She is passionate about reducing the language and access barriers surrounding fertility education in Latin America. Cristina hopes to make body literacy more accessible so Spanish-speaking communities can recognize reproductive health patterns and make informed decisions.
Frida Hannerz
Based in Sweden, Frida discovered fertility awareness after experiencing menstrual health concerns and feeling that she had nowhere to turn for meaningful answers. Although she was prescribed contraceptives, no one explained why or helped her understand what was happening in her body. Learning about fertility awareness helped Frida reconnect with her body. Through the FAE Program, she hopes to deepen that knowledge and share it with others who may be searching for clearer information and support.
Liv Edlund Helmfrid
Liv’s passion for body literacy and sustainable health problem-solving grew from her experience with long COVID and years of feeling unheard within healthcare. While searching for answers, she discovered the Justisse Method and began using cycle charting to recognize patterns and evaluate which interventions supported her health. Now healthy again, Liv hopes to use her lived experience and FAE training to support women facing similar challenges, with the Justisse Method serving as a foundation for her work.
Ângela Raquel Alexandre Gomes Silva
Ângela brings a background in computer engineering, management, human-centred design, and innovation to her FAE training. Her own long journey to have her symptoms understood strengthened her commitment to body literacy and accessible reproductive health education. She hopes to help women and girls, particularly those in underserved communities, develop the language to understand their experiences and advocate for their well-being. Ângela also hopes to bring men and boys into these important conversations.
Karla Bodell
Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Karla holds a degree in Gender Studies and came to fertility awareness through lived experience. After seeing menstrual and fertility concerns repeatedly met with rushed answers, misinformation, or dismissal, she recognized the need for patient, science-based support. Through the FAE Program, Karla is developing a practice combining cycle charting with a gender lens while sharing accessible education through her Substack and podcast. Her goal is to change how women’s health is understood and discussed.
Emilie Asplund Lindøe
Based in Oslo, Norway, Emilie has a background in Human Geography and interests in sustainability, solidarity, and social change. Her experiences with contraception, reproductive health, and cycle charting beginning in 2020 deepened her curiosity about the connections between the body, society, and everyday life. Now an FAE student and mother, Emilie hopes to promote body literacy and autonomy, helping women better understand their bodies and make informed choices about their health and fertility.
Celebrating the Journey Ahead
Becoming a Fertility Awareness Educator is more than learning how to interpret cycle biomarkers. It is a commitment to helping others access clear, compassionate, and evidence-informed education about their bodies.
We are honoured to support these students as they deepen their knowledge, develop their skills, and prepare to serve their communities. Their varied experiences reflect the many ways fertility awareness education can contribute to more informed, inclusive, and person-centred care.
Welcome to Justisse College International, Fall 2026 cohort. We cannot wait to see where this journey takes you.
