Discharge Seen on Undergarments
Observations of mucus seen on undergarments, though not alone reliable, may be helpful. If you see anything that may be picked up to finger test then make a note of it, especially if it is lubricative, tacky, or stretchy. For some women the beginning of their mucus pattern is signaled by a wet or damp feeling on the undergarments throughout the day. If the wetness or dampness is significantly different from other days in the cycle, it is worth paying attention to. A whitish crumbly discharge seen on undergarments is vaginal cell slough, and is a normal discharge from the vaginal wall and is not related to fertile or non-fertile days.
